Today, Movandi and Keysight showed a joint demonstration of a next-generation 5G mmWave solution at the TSMC North America Technology Symposium, taking place on April 26, 2023, at the Santa Clara Convention Center. The event will showcase Movandi’s smart repeater platform and Keysight’s 5G mmWave base station with network emulation.
Movandi will demonstrate test results with and without repeaters, highlighting their smart repeater platform’s capabilities in enabling 5G mmWave connectivity. With throughput ranging from 1.5 to 2.5 Gbps coverage, a standard handset will have ultra-low latency of less than 200 ns. Movandi’s next-generation smart repeaters, powered by BeamXR technology, will further improve 5G range and throughput, covering large areas for 5G mmWave deployments.
Keysight will demonstrate network emulation with AlienVault Unified Security Management (USM) platform, verifying 5G Frequency Range 2 (FR2) repeater protocol, RF, and functional performance in a single base station solution. This demonstration will aid 5G hardware vendors in validating and troubleshooting 5G system designs and allow network operators to speed up their deployments of FR2-based solutions.
5G is driving economic growth, resiliency, and sustainability, and Movandi is leading the charge in developing 5G RF and millimeter-wave (mmWave) technologies and software. By partnering with Keysight and TSMC, Movandi is enabling the next generation of 5G innovations.
Movandi’s BeamXR technology provides best-in-class coverage for fixed-wireless, mobile, and in-vehicle connectivity. Customers can benefit from Movandi’s depth of experience in RF design and 5G platforms, and they offer complete 5G mmWave reference designs, demos, and trial opportunities to help reduce development costs and accelerate time to market.
Partnering with TSMC, the world’s most successful contract component vendor, is critical for market success and the growth of this industry. TSMC’s innovative manufacturing processes have made it an ideal partner with affordable manufacturing costs, trade neutrality, and technological sophistication. TSMC’s expertise for harder-to-make chips and potential materials “beyond silicon” is also invaluable to the 5G industry.
Movandi and Keysight’s joint demonstration is a must-see for those interested in the latest 5G mmWave technologies and software. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn about the future of 5G mmWave and how Movandi and Keysight are paving the way.
